New Singer Auditions

Join Boston's science, healthcare, and medical choir for an exciting semester of singing! The Longwood Chorus is open to all working members or graduate level and above students in the healthcare, medical, and science community, regardless of sub-field, level of training, job title, and institutional affiliation. Our membership base thrives on diverse backgrounds, fields of work and personalities. We look forward to meeting you!

Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings 7:15PM - 9:15 PM at United Parish in Coolidge Corner.

Rehearsal Pianist Opening

Longwood Chorus seeks a highly skilled and passionate musician to serve as their rehearsal pianist for the upcoming semester.  The primary responsibilities of our rehearsal pianist are to provide piano accompaniment for regular Tuesday night rehearsals and dress rehearsal from 7:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. at United Parish of Brookline, Brookline MA and/or at other locations to be determined in coordination with the Music Director, President or member of the Choir Board. There will be approximately 13 calls during the semester. Minimum compensation will be $1,300 per semester, with the final amount to be determined prior to semester start.

 If you are interested in this position, kindly email operations@longwoodchorus.org with your resume/CV, and video links of you performing both solo repertoire and accompanying a chorus. Submissions will be accepted until 8/1/2026. The final portion of the interview will be in person with the Artistic Director and members of the Choir at 5:30 PM on 08/04, where candidates will be asked to prepare excerpts from choral works they receive 48 hours in advance and play them with the AD, as well as sight read a work for the AD and Choir Members.
